Centcom sets up 'Task Force Iron Gate' to disrupt Iran’s weapons transfers The United States Central Command (Centcom) has directed the establishment of a task force that will support US government's efforts to prevent Iran from using ground routes to transport advanced weapons and other materials. In a statement issued on Saturday on X, Centcom said Admiral Brad Cooper has directed the formation of Task Force Iron Gate, an internal staff of approximately 20 civilian and military personnel based in Tampa, Florida.
