Tehran, Dushanbe call for creation of Persian-speaking countries’ union

Tehran, IRNA — First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon stressed the importance of strengthening cultural and civilizational ties, establishing a union of Persian-speaking countries and regions, setting up a joint supreme committee for the Persian language and literature, and reviving the Persian alphabet in Tajikistan.
