US Centcom says it destroyed vessel in Gulf of Oman US Central Command (Centcom) says it destroyed an Iranian-affiliated sailing vessel “conducting surveillance and targeting US Navy ships in the Gulf of Oman”. “Crew members were ⁠safely removed prior ⁠to destruction of the dhow. Repatriation ⁠efforts are ongoing,” ⁠it said in a post, adding the ‌incident took place on 6 October.
