Iran dismisses US claims of normalcy in Strait of Hormuz, says they don’t match reality

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has dismissed US President Donald Trump’s claims that energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz have returned to pre-war levels, saying security will not be restored to the waterway as long as Washington maintains its naval blockade and economic sanctions against Iran.
