Iranian oil minister steps down Iran's oil minister Mohsen Paknejad has resigned, the president's office said in a statement on Sunday, amid long queues at petrol stations caused by the ongoing war and US sanctions. Paknejad, a member of President Masoud Pezeshkian's cabinet since August 2024, gave no reason for his resignation.
