Three commercial vessels struck in Hormuz since 1 Oct, UKMTO says Attacks on commercial ships witnessed a surge during the past three days, as at least three tankers were struck by unidentified projectiles in and around the Strait of Hormuz, according to United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) warnings. Early Saturday, UKMTO reported that a crude oil tanker was hit on its port side approximately 4 nautical miles east of Oman. A day earlier, an outbound vessel suffered a small fire and blackout, while a sec
