Iran blacklists 77 ships accused of breaking Strait of Hormuz rules Iran’s Persian Gulf Strait Authority has placed 77 vessels on a list of ships it accuses of “violating Iranian protocols for the Strait of Hormuz”. The Iranian body, which oversees transit requests through the waterway, said the vessels could face “fines, detention or confiscation” if they attempt future crossings. It warned that it would also list commercial ships that cooperate with the US and its allies.
