Iraqi commander dismissed over drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia MEE earlier reported that Saudi Arabia on Friday said drones launched from Iraq hit the East–West Pipeline and led to its closure. The Iraqi prime minister’s office said a military commander was dismissed after investigations confirmed that drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia originated from Iraqi territory.
