Explosions heard in Iran's Minab, Sirik, Qeshm Island Iran's IRNA reported on Wednesday that a loud explosion was heard on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that “it is not yet clear whether the sound originated from the sea or if the explosion occurred within Qeshm”. Fars news agency also reported the sounds of multiple explosions in the city of Sirik and the area of Minab County. The outlet quoted the Hormozgan Province Governorate as saying that the sounds originated from the sea.
