Baqaei: Reducing raison d'être of UN to preventing war between superpowers is dangerous

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says that reducing the raison d'être of the United Nations to "preventing war between superpowers" is a misleading and dangerous interpretation of the spirit of the Charter and the fundamental principle prohibiting the use of force in relations among all states (Article 2, Paragraph 4).
