Political career of PM Bahonar: A visual history

A cleric, educator, and political activist, Mohammad-Javad Bahonar held key positions including education minister and prime minister following the victory of the Islamic Revolution. He was martyred alongside then-President Mohammad-Ali Rajai in the September 1, 1981, bombing of the Prime Minister’s Office in Tehran, just weeks after his administration took office.
