Israel would strike Iran even with a US deal, minister says Israel will attack Iran again if it tries to rebuild its nuclear or missile programmes, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said Saturday. Speaking to Israeli media, Cohen said Israel would strike Iran in such a case, regardless of a deal between Tehran and Washington. He said Iran would already have nuclear weapons had Israel not intervened, citing intelligence estimates that the joint US-Israeli strikes had delayed the programme by two to four years.
