Construction work underway on section 3 of Tehran–North Freeway

Hossein Dehqan, head of Mostazafan Foundation, visited the construction site of section 3 of the Tehran–North Freeway on August 23, 2026. The 17.8-kilometer section, measured in both directions, includes nine major bridges and six major tunnels. The project aims to ease the traffic bottleneck at Siah Bisheh, improve traffic flow, and reduce travel time and distance.
