After more than two years of conflict, children in Gaza desperately need safe spaces to learn, play and heal. Through UNRWA's 2026 Summer Activities Programme, around 60,000 children, including nearly 1,000 children with disabilities, are taking part in learning, recreational and psychosocial activities across 78 Temporary Learning Spaces. Supported by UNRWA teachers and counsellors, children are finding opportunities to reconnect, make friends and simply be children again.
