Iran marks 36th anniversary of return of thousands of war captives from Iraq

Kermanshah, IRNA – Monday marks the 36th anniversary of the beginning of a multi-stage process to release and repatriate tens of thousands of Iranian captives held by Iraq’s toppled Baath regime during and after the eight-year war between the two countries in the 1980s.
