Oman Environment Authority Issues Statement on Oil Pollution from Grounded Vessel Incident

Muscat, August 12 (QNA) - Oman Environment Authority announced today that oil pollution resulting from the grounding of a vessel near Al Qibliyah Island, part of the Al Hallaniyat Islands archipelago in Dhofar Governorate, could affect up to 40 kilometers of coastline in the Ras Madrakah area.
