OVERVIEW Cross-border movements from Lebanon into the Syrian Arab Republic (hereafter referred to as Syria) have declined following the ceasefire in Lebanon announced on 17 April 2026. After reaching a peak of 153,087 arrivals on 27 April, DTM estimates that around 29,467 Syrian and Lebanese nationals have since returned to Lebanon.
