Libya's General Electricity Company: Power Outage Due to Attack on Zawiya Substation

Tripoli, August 12 (QNA) - The General Electricity Company of Libya said on Wednesday that an attack on the South Zawiya substation caused a complete power outage across large areas of southern Zawiya city. In a statement posted on Facebook, the company explained that the 30/11 kV substation south of Zawiya was targeted, causing it to catch fire completely and go out of service, which resulted in the loss of electricity supply to large areas south of the city.
