KEY HIGHLIGHTS • After a prolonged pipeline break, more than 1,600 mt of the approximately 6,000 mt of nutrition commodities expected in the country have arrived, enabling WFP to reach 80,000 children and 25,000 mothers. • Since early July, funding shortfalls have forced WFP to suspend famine-prevention programmes in hotspot areas, putting 1.5 million people at risk of life-threatening hunger.
