UN Security Council meeting on Iran inconclusive; Russia and China oppose action
New York, IRNA – Despite the expiration of Resolution 2231 (2015) and opposition from Russia and China, the UN Security Council once again became a venue for Western exploitation; under the guise of a so-called "non-proliferation" agenda—and by pressuring the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Council's rotating president for the current month—they convened yet another fruitless meeting regarding Iran.
