During January and February 2026, the security situation in Lebanon remained tense but relatively contained. Protection monitoring highlighted persistent vulnerabilities among Palestine refugees, including worsening poverty levels, deterio‐ rating living conditions and ongoing anxiety, particularly among refugees living in camps located near high-risk areas.
