Foreigners visit Iran to attend memorial services for martyred Leader
People from countries across Asia, Europe, and the United States have traveled to Iran to attend the farewell and funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The week-long ceremonies began in Tehran on Friday, July 3, 2026, when senior officials from dozens of countries paid their respects to the martyred Leader. The ceremonies will conclude on Thursday in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, where the martyred Leader will be laid to rest.
