Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir were among dozens of foreign dignitaries who visited Tehran on Friday, July 3, 2026, to honor the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The Leader was assassinated in a US-Israeli terrorist attack in the Iranian capital on February 28.
