Key Messages Starting around October, ongoing Stressed (IPC Phase 2) outcomes will deteriorate to Crisis (IPC Phase 3) in typical deficit-producing areas in the south, east, west, and extreme north, which will persist through January 2027. Poor households can currently meet their minimum food needs with stocks from the recent harvest, but not their non-food needs.
