Iraq is experiencing a seasonal outbreak of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), a severe zoonotic disease that is endemic in the country and primarily transmitted through bites of infected Hyalomma ticks or through direct contact with the blood and tissues of infected animals.
