Iran and Lebanon speakers discuss Israel’s war Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has spoken by phone with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to discuss the latest developments in the region, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reports. Ghalibaf told Berri that Tehran remains committed to efforts to end Israel’s war on Lebanon. He said the first paragraph of Iran’s memorandum with the US deals with ending hostilities in Lebanon and protecting the country’s territorial integrity.
