Ashura commemoration in Iran

People across Iran held ceremonies on Thursday to commemorate Ashura, the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hossein (PBUH), and his 72 companions, who were martyred in the Battle of Karbala more than 14 centuries ago.
