Trump says he talked to Syria's Sharaa on countering Hezbollah US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he had spoken to Syria 's Ahmed al-Sharaa about combatting Hezbollah in Lebanon. Asked at the G7 summit in France if Sharaa was willing to take on the Shia group, Trump said he would talk about that later.
