Hamas confirms Israel's killing of leader of military leader Hamas has confirmed that Israel killed Izz al-Din al-Haddad, the leader of the Qassam Brigades, Hamas' armed wing, in Gaza. Hamas said Israel killed al-Haddad with his wife, daughter and other Palestinian civilians on Friday evening and that this is a breach of the ceasefire agreement.
