Photos from Gaza this morning showing part of the Palestinian police deployment securing the opening of Fatah’s 8th Conference in the Gaza Strip. The conference is being held simultaneously at Al-Azhar University in Gaza City, the Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah, the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, and a conference hall in Beirut. Very few people expected Hamas to cooperate in facilitating this conference inside Gaza.
