The Rogue State, the Indispensable Nation, and the Inescapable Civilization

The former U.S. Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, famously called America “the indispensable nation,” able to see further into the future and ever ready to sacrifice for freedom and democracy. Recent policies of the United States, however, driven as they are by the whims of a man-child president and the messianic fantasies of Israeli extremists and Christian Zionists, belie Albright’s claim.
