April 7th, 2026 ― Doha, Qatar: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched phase 1 of its emergency humanitarian aid project for displaced families in southern Syria. In cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Society (SARCS), heating oil is being distributed to internally displaced people (IDPs) from Sweida to Daraa, rural areas of Sweida, Latakia, and Tartus.
