Report: 15 Americans wounded in Iranian drone strike on Kuwait base Fifteen American personnel were wounded in an Iranian drone strike on the Ali Al Salem air base in Kuwait, CBS News reported, citing two US officials. Most of those injured have since returned to duty, the report said. The base, about 37 kilometres (23 miles) from the Iraqi border, is a key hub for US operations in the region.
