Iran issues ceasefire demands, including protocol for Hormuz and lifting of sanctions Iran has delivered a list of demands in response to the Pakistan-mediated peace proposal to end the war with the US. Despite rejecting the temporary ceasefire, Iran has called for “a permanent end to the war while respecting Iranian considerations”, according to IRNA news reporting. These considerations consist of 10 clauses, which include: an end to conflicts in the region, protocol for safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz
