Trump claims Iran wants a ceasefire, Iran says remarks are ‘false and baseless’

Donald Trump has claimed that Iran has asked the United States for a ceasefire -- adding that Washington would only consider it when the Strait of Hormuz reopens. Tehran, though, has denied this -- the Foreign Ministry calling Trump's remarks "baseless." It comes hours ahead of the president's primetime address to the nation. FRANCE 24's Carys Garland reports.
