Iraqi paramilitary says bases hit in US-Israeli strikes Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces said US-Israeli air strikes targeted two of its bases in the provinces of Babil and Anbar. The group said the attacks hit the 45th Brigade in the Jurf al-Nasr area of Babil and the 31st Brigade site in al-Karma, east of Anbar. In a statement, it added that it remains in a “high state of readiness” and is continuing its security duties despite what it described as “repeated strikes” on its positions.
