Asian economies most vulnerable to impac of Middle east war on oil markets

More than 80% of the crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) that passes through Strait of Hormuz heads to Asia. With the war in the Middle East giving no sign of slowing, many parts of Southeast Asia have suffered fuel supply difficulties. Now, policymakers in the Asia-Pacific region are facing their toughest test since the COVID-19 pandemic.
