Oil prices surge above $100 again Oil prices jumped at the start of Asian trading on Monday, with benchmark crude climbing sharply as the Israeli-US war on Iran showed no sign of ending. West Texas Intermediate rose 3.5 percent to $103.13 per barrel, moving back above the $100 threshold. Brent crude also advanced, gaining nearly 3 percent to reach $115.93 per barrel.
