OECD cuts eurozone growth outlook as war drives inflation

OECD cuts eurozone growth outlook as war drives inflation The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has downgraded its outlook for the eurozone, warning that the Middle East war is driving up energy prices and fuelling inflation. In its latest update on Thursday, the OECD cut its growth forecast for the currency bloc by 0.4 percentage points to 0.8 percent. It also lowered projections for Germany and France by 0.2 points each, leaving both economies expected to grow by 0.8 percent.
