US 'shifts' towards diplomacy with Iran ahead of midterms

Hopes rose that the Iran war could begin winding down as U.S. President Donald Trump said that his government was holding productive talks with Tehran. Although this was denied by Iran, it is a further sign that the US is turning towards diplomacy to end a conflict that could drag on.
