Red Cross says Middle East is reaching ‘point of no return’ The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has called for an immediate halt to the “war on essential infrastructure” in the Middle East. “What we have seen in recent days in the Middle East risks reaching a point of no return,” ICRC president Mirjana Spoljaric said, adding that the “potential harm to nuclear facilities” was “most alarming” and could lead to “irreversible consequences”.
