Israel to 'advance targeted ground operations' in Lebanon

Israel continues to bomb Lebanon as it tries to root out Hezbollah, which the president has called a collective punishment. After having destroyed several bridges linking southern Lebanon to the rest of the country, Israeli forces are 'advancing targeted ground operations' as they claim the operation against Hezbollah 'has only just begun'. Meanwhile, the death toll in Lebanon has risen to over 1,000 killed and at least 2,700 wounded.
